How do I memorize a grid?

Memorizing a grid state means that you will be able to easily return to the modified version of a grid. This is useful whenever you find that you are frequently filtering and/rearranging a grid the same way each time. Instead of starting from the main default grid each time, you can select your own memorized grid.

  1. On any grid that you’ve filtered, rearranged, grouped, and/or aggregated a certain way to get the data a specific way, click the “Memorize” button at the bottom of the window.
  2. A window will appear wherein your first name your the grid you’re memorizing.
  3. Enter a name for your grid.
  4. Fill out the rest of fields.
  5. Click “Create” at the bottom of the window.
  6. You will now be able to select your memorized grid any time you pull up this data table by clicking on the “Memorized” button at the bottom of the window and selecting the name of your grid.

Tip!

Name the grid with your own name, department, or a short description of the purpose of the modified grid state.
