How do I create a new transfer order?

A transfer order refers to the movement of a product(s) from one location to another–from warehouse to warehouse. A transfer order does NOT refer to moving a product WITHIN a location such as from bin to bin. A transfer order involves too many unnecessary steps for bin to bin transfers, so this would be a Quick Transfer function rather than an order.

  1. MENU->TRANSFERS->ORDERS
  2. In the grid is a list of all transfer orders.
  3. To create a new transfer order, click the ADD button (bottom right corner, second button from the left). All fields with a red asterisk must be filled in.
  4. You will be prompted to fill in the fields from which “Warehouse” and to which “Warehouse” the product is moving.
  5. When finished, click the CREATE button (bottom left corner, first button from the left).
  6. A “Transfer Order Lines – Add” window will automatically pop up. All fields with a red asterisk must be filled in.
  7. Click the CREATE button (lower left, first button from the left) when completed.
  8. Certain fields will auto populate after entering in the product name. Under the UOM, the number of products at the warehouse the products are leaving from, and the number of products at the warehouse the products are going to should be visible.
  9. A new add line window will continue to pop up. To close, click the CANCEL button (lower left, second button from the left) or the “X” button (upper right corner, second button from the left) when you are finished adding entries.
  10. When you have finished adding entries, click the SAVE button (bottom left corner, first button from the left).
  11. Then close the window by clicking the X button (top right corner, second button from the left).

Tip!

The Transfer Order must be picked and posted at the beginning warehouse then received by the ending warehouse.

Depending on whether you’re picking the transfer order or receiving the transfer, you’ll need to make sure you’ve changed the warehouse that you’re looking at when searching for the transfer order number of the transfer order from which you’re either picking or receiving. IF you are not finding the transfer order, check what warehouse you’re looking at (this is true for the browser as well as the mobile app).
