How do I set permissions for each user?

Each user must be assigned a role in the system. These roles are set by your organization’s administrator in the system. Therefore, the way to set permissions for each user is to first set the permissions for each roles. Roles could be the defaults such as “User”, or ones you have created, such as “warehouse manager” or “Accounting Department.”

You will set permissions for each role by going MENU->ADMINISTRATION->ROLES.

Tips!

Click MENUS to define permission of tasks to each user.
–Using the drop down box at the top select the menu for functions. This will bring up all
functions within that Menu. Check each box that applies, click SAVE when completed. Clicking SAVE
will automatically close the window, click SAVE in the General Information window to save completed
changes. Close remaining windows.

Click ROLES ADMINISTERED to define the roles that the current selection may edit.
–Click ADD- Using drop down menu bar select the roles- SAVE, this will automatically close
the window. If you wish to add more roles, repeat. If finished, close the window. Click SAVE in the
General Information window to save completed changes. Close remaining windows.

Click MEMBERS to view or add members to the role.
–A list of current users within the role will appear, to delete click the red X. To add, click
ADD- type the user’s name or search using the search button. Click SAVE when completed. Clicking
SAVE will automatically close the window, click SAVE in the General Information window to save
completed changes. Close remaining windows.
